Capillaries, Redness, Rosacea

Facial redness (Rosacea) and broken capillaries (Spider veins) are common outcomes of sun damage, genetic predisposition, and the natural ageing of the skin.

Laser and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) treatments select, target, and deliver strong bursts of light to the problem areas in the skin. In the case of fine capillaries, this treatment causes their coagulation and thus they disappear.

The IPL is the latest advanced treatment for sun damage, facial capillaries, redness, pigmentation, and general rejuvenation of the skin. The treatments also enhance the general skin texture as an added advantage – with a reduction in pore size.

LED Light:

LED Light Therapy encourages skin healing and the physiology of skin cells. It is one of the safest and most cost-effective treatments to enhance long-term rosacea that has failed to respond to other treatments. Multiple treatment sessions are needed at regular intervals for longer-lasting results.

Capillaries, Redness, Rosacea FAQs

Which Body Areas Can Be Treated?

Any area of the body can be treated like the neck, chest, and hands. There is a safe and effective treatment that can treat sun-damaged hands necks and chests, removing sun damage, broken capillaries, and brown age spots.

The treatments are very rapid, safe, and highly effective with the least downtime.

The treatments are not much painful owing to the physics of the machine as well as the sapphire cooling plate that cools the skin while the treatments are going on. This not only lessens discomfort but also allows usage of higher energies and therefore achieves greater outputs.

The cooling mechanism in combination with the variable pulse width and energy means we can also tailor the treatments as per the suitability and treatment of all skin types. Other technology does not permit as much variability in the settings of the machines and is therefore not usually suited for the treatment of a wide variety of skin types.

What Does a IPL Treatment Feel Like?

The treatment needs anywhere between 10 to 20 minutes depending on how many areas undergoing treatment (10 minutes for a face, 15 to 20 for face, neck, and chest). The warm sensation generally disappears after 30 minutes.

At this point, the skin is a little red, but the redness will disappear the next day. Mineral makeup can be worn right away. The brown spots and pigmentation become darker and slowly fade out of the skin over a week. The skin does not break or peeling of the skin. Treatments are carried out 3 to 4 weeks apart.

Is IPL Able to Treat Rosacea?

Yes, IPL is also used for the treatment of rosacea. Not only does it enhance the look of the skin by eliminating the redness and capillaries, but it also lessens the sensitivity of the skin that many rosacea patients suffer from.

People with skin prone to rosacea and redness usually have 3 to 4 treatments a month apart.
