Laser and Light Based Rejuvenation FAQs
IPL is not permanent, but it considerably lessens growth of hair.
IPL usually provides greater coverage than other hair removal techniques, but more sessions may be needed to get the results like laser.
There are no severe risks related to IPL. Some side effects may be skin redness, swelling, and some soreness, but these should vanish in 1-2 days.
Most IPL clients experience little to no discomfort, but it can depend on your capacity to tolerate pain.
The treated area may feel warm, and possibly experience some irritation – such as sunburn. Following proper aftercare is essential.
You will likely see results at once, but as hair grows in cycles you will need multiple treatments to target each new cycle (until each cycle has been affected). Your treatments will be scheduled in a strategic way so that each cycle of hair growth can be targeted by us.
The hair cycle that is treated should fall out after 10-18 days.
